Oreo Announced Which Flavor Won The Oreo Creation Contest

Oreo just announced which flavor won the Oreo Creation Contest and got $500,000! It was between flavors that was released back in May - Cherry Cola, Kettle Corn, and Pina Colada. Which one of the three won? Drum roll... CHERRY COLA! Did not see that one coming! And the person who came up with the concept, is the one who gets the money!

"I started to think about sweet sodas and popsicles and fresh fruit. All of those sweet juicy flavors like orange, grape, lime, and cherry," she continued. "I was trying to capture flavors that reminded me of happy summers when I was a kid in the late '70s and '80s." Also, if you're wondering, the finished product does, indeed, taste exactly how she imagined it would.

Oreo also announced that Cherry Cola will become a permanent flavor!
