An absolute angel.

Blake Lively had arguably the best dress of the night at the "Heavenly Bodies - Fashion and the Catholic Imagination"-themed Met Gala Monday night (May 7th).

According to people, her accessories alone cost over $2 million.

Blake wore Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and a halo made with over 100 carats of nude champagne diamonds.

And Vogue says the Versace gown took over 600 hours to make!

And the back??

Perfection.

MET GALA 2018. I questioned if the theme this year would be interpreted how it should be... To celebrate the opulence, grandeur, beauty, architecture, sacred traditions and art of the Church through fashion. Some celebrities/designers appropriately paid homage to the theme and embraced it with grace, modernity and innovation. I have shared the artistic and tasteful looks which I absolutely adore in this post. While other celebrity looks... I couldn’t help but think how they crossed the fine line between artistic expression of the theme and blatant mockery, self idolisation and disrespect of faith. I don’t care how much it is worth, who designed it, how many hours it took... I promised myself when I began this little outlet I’d speak the truth, share my views, even if I was the last one standing. I’ll never jump on a bandwagon for the sake of “trends.” And I know, if it was any other faith or theme, whereby, a group of people felt disrespected, I’d also proudly defend them. - Bridget Elias #METGala #Met2018 #Truth #GlimpseOfHeaven
