A couple from Utah will probably not be attending any University of Utah football games this fall as they no longer have the money to purchase the tickets. They didnât use the money for some unexpected expense that arose. Oh no! Instead, their 2-year old son shredded the money on them!
Ben and Jackee Belnap of Holliday, Utah, had saved $1,060 to buy the tickets. However, 2-year old Leo, who had previously expressed an interest in the shredder, got ahold of the envelope with the money in it and proceeded to shred the contents when his parents werenât looking!
Jackee told local media outlets that, despite being devastated by the event, âthis was one of those moments where you just have to laugh.â Not sure about that, but needless to say, little Leo is not banned from playing with the shredder. Good move, Mom!
