Christopher Walker, 28, was driving his semi down Interstate 65 near Lowell, Indiana, when a fly flew into his cab. Well naturally, who wants to share their semi cab with a fly? Walker certainly didn’t, so he tried to swat the fly while he was driving. Of course, it didn’t end well.
Walker’s momentary indistraction was enough to cause him to strike a guardrail on the highway. Well it doesn’t end there. The semi then careened into a concrete construction barrier, causing the trailer to come loose, split open and dump 42,000 pounds of plastic rolls onto the highway!
Needless to say, Indiana State Police had to divert traffic while the mess was cleaned up. Walker was not injured and declined medical attention. However, to hurt his pride even more, he was slapped with a citation for unsafe lane movement.
