Maybe the fare was too high? Riders on the C train, between Clinton-Washington and Lafayette Avenue stations on the New York City Subway, were shocked to see a man riding on the outside of the subway car this morning.
According to rider Matt Beary, it appears the man missed the the train and either grabbed a loop hanger that was trapped outside the doors, or grabbed onto the doors and pressed himself against the subway car until the car pulled into the next station. At that point, the daredevil jumped off the car and proceeded on his way!
“The woman next to me had her hand over her mouth in shock,” Beary said. More humorous is the man in the video seated next to the doors who continues to play with his phone while the action is going on behind him! Too funny!
