Shelly Clark and her 14-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son experienced a 'fake kidnapping' on Sunday afternoon while walking around NoDa, Clark told Channel 9. Clark says her family walked passed a man and a woman with a baby stroller when the man grabbed her son and took off running. Her daughter chased after them, holding onto her brother's leg and trying to beat on the man.
When Clark reached the man with her son he said that it was a "kidnap prank."
"I didn't see anything funny about it,” Clark said. “It may have only lasted a couple of minutes but it was detrimental and traumatic for my children and for myself."
