10 Fun Things Going Down In Charlotte This Weekend

Alright, so I'm not gonna pull your leg... I'm SUPER new to Charlotte!

I've only been living out here for about a week now, but I do know when something sounds like a lot of fun. Which is why I looked through Charlotte Agenda's "Agenda Weekender" list and picked out 10 things events that sound like too much fun to pass up!

Here's what I think would be worth fighting the cold over:

1. Craft Night Out at NoDa Brewing Company

Who could pass this up?? You can try four Girl Scout Cookie-inspired beers this weekend at NoDa Brewing Company, which is a must since they've just stopped selling them. I mean, look at that Samoan Blonde ale! 6-9 p.m this Friday. $6.

2. Harry Potter Trivia Night at StrikeCity

Harry Potter nerds UNITE! Put your knowledge of the wizarding world’s spells and magic to the test for prizes and giveaways. 8 p.m. on Friday. AND it's completely free.

3. Spring Concert Series Kick-off at The Music Yard

This looks like a great opportunity to get your friends together and grab a drink! Charlotte’s newest live music venue, located at Southbound, will kick off its season with a free concert featuring Ancient Cities, Leisure McCorkle and plenty of tacos and drinks. 6-11 p.m. on Friday. This one's free, too!

4. Tour de Charlotte 2018 at The Barrel Room at Triple C

Saturday! Ride as a group on a 30-ish-mile “Party Pace” route around the city, stopping at 5 “Stages” for a mini race along the way. Last day for registration is today (Thursday), so you might wanna hop on that... 8 a.m.-9 p.m. $35.

5. 9th Anniversary at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery

This one's on Saturday, too! Go out and celebrate the brewery’s 9th birthday with the release of Anniversary Alt, live music and more. This one's kid and dog friendly, so you can bring the whole fam. 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Another free one!

6. Glory Days Apparel 2 Year Anniversary at Hoppin’

Again, I am super new to CLT, so I'm not very familiar with this brand, yet. BUT it's never too late to discover an epic local clothing brand! "Your favorite t-shirt company is teaming up with your favorite self-serve bar to celebrate, and will have 3 exclusive Hoppin’ shirts available. Wear your Glory Days Apparel to the event or buy some new gear there to get 10% off your tab." 2-7 p.m. this Saturday. Free event alert!

7. Opening Day 2018 at Carowinds

This one is gonna be FUN! Channel will actually be hanging out at the park Friday night, but it looks like the park will be open to the public again this Saturday. And who can resist Snoopy?? Gold or Platinum pass holders get early access. 10 a.m.-10 p.m. $45+. See you there!

8. Pugfest 2018 at Continental Boarding

SO CUTE. Mid Atlantic Pug Rescue will be on-site with a pug pageant, food trucks, raffle auction, vendors and more. Family friendly! Kids and pugs welcome. 12-5 p.m. Free.

I'm all for women supporting other women! Events like this are a must. "Meet other driven women in the Charlotte area and connect on personal and professional levels while you hang out at food trucks, play games and more." 6-8 p.m. this Saturday! $13 in advance.

10. Sunday Serenity Yoga at Blue Blaze Brewing
