Mumford And Sons bass player Ted Dwane had surgery due to a blood clot on the surface of his brain.  The operation forced the band to postpone three concerts this week.

The good news is that Dwane is recovering.  Mumford And Sons banjo player Winston Marshall tweeted, "Ted is recovering nicely from surgery."

Marshall added, "He's a brave little boy. Thanks for all your support. We are very grateful."

Mumford And Sons are scheduled to headline this weekend's Bonnaroo festival.  That gig is still on.  No word on if Ted Dwane will be able to perform.
